Disney "Plus Dining" Plan
Disney World diners, rejoice! There is finally a plan which can actually save you money on eating at Disney World.
Now, to take advantage of this plan, you must purchase a Magic Your Way vacation package either from Disney, a travel agent or online. You also must purchase the dining plan for everyone in your party ages 3 and up, and you must purchase it for each night of your stay.
Details of the "Plus Dining" Plan:
- Cost is $38 per night for adults and kids (everyone 10 and over) and $11 for children ages (3-9)
- For that price you get 1 full service meal (appetizer, entree, dessert & beverage), 1 counter service meal (entree, dessert & beverage) and 1 snack (bottled water, soda, popcorn, fruit, or ice cream from cart) each night from participating restaurants. Click here for a list.
- The tip at your full service meals is included in this price. Alcoholic beverages are not included.
- You have no price limit on what you can order at the participating restaurants.
- You can use a sit down meals for any of the character meals.
- You can trade in 2 of your sit-down meals for one meal at some of the more exclusive restaurants, and the dinner shows (Hoop Dee Doo Revue, Spirit of Aloha).
- You get all of your dining credits when you first check in at your resort and can use them as you please throughout your vacation (credits are stored on your Guest card which is also your room key and park pass).
- There are no refunds for unused portions of the plan.
Important Tip: Unless you're visiting in early December, January, or early February, be sure to make Advance Reservations for your sit down meals. Don't get caught being unable to use your sit-down credits because you can't get into any of the full service restaurants!
